3. Fund your account

Next, you would need to fund your account with either fiat money (USD, AUD, GBP, CAD, etc) or another cryptocurrency like BTC or ETH. This process should again be straightforward and easily done using one of the bigger cryptocurrency exchanges.

Considering buying Nebulas? NAS Rundown

Nebulas is still a relatively new project but has been moving quickly.

The Nebulas team hopes to create an incentive-based blockchain that users can use. They will also provide a decentralized platform for search capabilities for all current blockchains.

Nebulas was established in Singapore in 2017 and is currently based in Singapore. While the search function has been the main focus of the project, Nebulas also works towards smart contract upgrades - something that is not possible with Ethereum.

Because it focuses on search, many have started to refer to Nebulas the Google of blockchain. The two use cases are different, so it is inaccurate. Google is great for finding information on an everyday basis. Nebulas can be used to search for blockchains for decentralized apps, smart contract, as well as blockchain assets and transfers.

Nebulas was originally created as an ERC-20 token. However, the team announced that the native NAS coin has been released on the mainnet as of May 2, 2018.

It aims to achieve this by making public data private and eliminating the possibility of large corporations such as Google, Amazon, or Facebook profiting from it.

Key Nebulas Features

  • Nebulas Rank NR: This is a universal blockchain value measure. You'll be able, for example, to see the top-rated DApps and make better judgements.
  • Nebulas Force, (NF): A developer-friendly solution that supports smart contracts flexibility and protocols. This allows the blockchain to adapt to market needs and prevents "forking" from happening.
  • Developer Incentive Protocol / Proof Of Devotion (PoD), System that awards developers with NAS in recognition of their contributions. It promotes fairness and best interests for these developers.
  • Search Engine: This tool helps users locate the data they are looking for (e.g. smart contracts and decentralized applications) in a large market.
  • Lightning Network Wallet: This wallet allows for atomic swaps. You can "swap” your NAS to any lightning network-enabled coin.
