Considering buying Groestlcoin? GRS Rundown

Groestlcoin, a proof-of-work cryptocurrency, was created in 2014. Groestlcoin is a proof of work cryptocurrency that was created in 2014. It has a block time of just one minute and ten seconds for Bitcoin. It has a maximum supply of 105 million coins as opposed to Bitcoin's 21 million. Groestlcoin was created to create an electronic payment system that relied solely on mathematical proof. To facilitate safe online money transactions, it uses the proof-of-work system (POW). This system is completely independent from central authorities.

Groestlcoin can be mined using the Groestl algorithm. Groestl was selected as one of five finalists in the NIST hash function contest. It uses the same S box as AES, but in a custom build. The cryptocurrency works as peer-to-peer software (transactions are made directly between the payers and the payee). It is possible to verify sender and recipient details without the assistance of a trusted intermediary like a bank or PayPal. Instead, transactions are verified by nodes (the global network of computers/users) and stored in an open ledger.

Groestlcoin has a shorter block time than Bitcoin and is therefore more useful for everyday payments. Merchants do not need to wait for 10 minutes to verify if they have received their payment. Groestlcoin was also made possible by the reduction in hashrate intensity. This allowed Groestlcoin to be mined even by those with lower computing power. ASICs have been created by companies and teams for Groestlcoin. However, they are more expensive than those for Bitcoin. Groestlcoin is more than a fork. It also adopts developments and additions from discussions around the Bitcoin network. In fact, it was one of the first to adopt many key features like Segregated Witness (SegWit), and the Lightning Network.
