How to Buy Frontier – 4 Easy Steps

1. Choose a cryptocurrency exchange

Finding a trading platform isn’t that hard. There are plenty of big players out there that have been around for quite some time.

This is where our comparison tables can help. The important factors to look for are fees, security, and if they have Frontier of course.

2. Sign up with the crypto exchange

Signing up with any of the major exchanges is generally very easy. The initial sign up should be very fast, and even the verification processes are very well set up these days.

3. Fund your account

Next, you would need to fund your account with either fiat money (USD, AUD, GBP, CAD, etc) or another cryptocurrency like BTC or ETH. This process should again be straightforward and easily done using one of the bigger trading platforms.

4. Buy Frontier

Now that you have what you need to buy Frontier, head over to the market or buy section of the cryptocurrency exchange and buy some FRONT.

If the crypto exchange doesn’t have any Frontier on offer, for most cryptocurrencies you can buy Ethereum instead, transfer it to a decentralized exchange like Uniswap (check if Uniswap has Frontier first), and trade your Ethereum for Frontier.

Considering buying Frontier? FRONT Rundown

Frontier is a decentralized finance aggregator that is chain-agnostic ( DeFi). The project aims at adding DeFi support for several blockchains including BandChain, Ethereum (ETH), Binance Smart Chain(BSC), and Harmony (ONE).

Frontier's apps allow users to manage staking and DeFi positions, best rate asset swapping and liquidity mine, as well as a collateralized debt position ( CDP). Creation and monitoring are possible.

Frontier brings DeFi's core functions to all users regardless of their platform.

Frontier was launched in November 2019 and began development in April 2019.

Frontier announced in August 2020 that it had raised $1.85million from numerous investors including Alameda Research and CoinGecko. FRONT, Frontier's native cryptocurrency, was first listed on September 2020.

Frontier is a company that aims to eliminate fragmentation in the DeFi sector. There is a lot of isolation when it comes to lending, swapping, borrowing, staking, and liquidity provision. Frontier is attempting to address this problem by consolidating multiple DeFi applications into one place.

Frontier claims that non-custodial wallets can be used for storage of cryptoassets, but not for DeFi. In order to be part of a single ecosystem, users will need to download multiple wallets. Frontier integrates multiple wallets, including Metamask and FortMatic, Coinbase Wallets, Trust Wallets, Trust Wallets, and imToken. To participate in DeFi, users don't need to move their cryptoassets from one wallet to another.
