Considering buying DigiByte? DGB Rundown

DigiByte is an open-source blockchain asset creation and cryptocurrency. The development of DigiByte began in October 2013. The genesis token of the DGB token was mined as a fork Bitcoin.

DigiByte is a long-standing public cryptocurrency and blockchain. It uses five different algorithms for security improvement and was originally created to improve the Bitcoin blockchain's security and capacity as well as transaction speed.

DigiByte is composed of three layers. A smart contract called "App Store", a public ledger, and the core protocol that features nodes communicating with each other to relay transactions are all part of DigiByte.

DigiByte, a modified version of Bitcoin, aims to increase security and speed while also increasing capacity.

The first version was an open-source blockchain with DGB as the associated cryptocurrency. Five algorithms are used to protect the network and prevent ASIC miners monopolizing too much power.

DigiAssets was later relaunched with DGB as the native token. Developers who want to launch decentralized applications ( ) or digital assets will love DigiAssets. They can also encode the required smart contracts.

DigiByte's governance structures are voluntary and in accordance with the principle that the network should remain open-source and accessible to all. For validating the blockchain, transaction fees in DGB are paid miners.
