This is where our comparison tables can help. The important factors to look for are fees, security, and if they have Cortex of course.

2. Sign up with the cryptocurrency exchange

Signing up with any of the major exchanges is generally very easy. The initial sign up should be very fast, and even the verification processes are very well set up these days.

3. Fund your account

Next, you would need to fund your account with either fiat money (USD, AUD, GBP, CAD, etc) or another cryptocurrency like BTC or ETH. This process should again be straightforward and easily done using one of the bigger trading platforms.

4. Buy Cortex

Now that you have what you need to buy Cortex, head over to the market or buy section of the cryptocurrency trading platform and buy some CTXC.

If the crypto exchange doesn’t have any Cortex on offer, for most cryptocurrencies you can buy Ethereum instead, transfer it to a decentralized exchange like Uniswap (check if Uniswap has Cortex first), and trade your Ethereum for Cortex.

Considering buying Cortex? CTXC Rundown

Cortex a decentralized, autonomous AI system that uses the blockchain. Cortex's goal is to offer state-of the-art machine learning models via blockchain. These models will be inferred by smart contracts that can be found on the Cortex Blockchain. Cortex also plans to create a machine learning platform that allows users to post tasks and submit AI decentralized applications (AI-dapps) on the platform.

Cortex's Cortex blockchain now features AI smart contracts. This allows any developer to use Cortex to add artificial Intelligence to smart contracts. This will greatly increase the potential of smart contracts and other related projects on the Blockchain. Smart contracts will be able to respond autonomously to external signals using AI, even those that programmers can't anticipate.

Cortex also offers an incentive system to encourage collaboration. Cortex allows anyone to submit models and improve existing models. Contributors to models receive rewards. This creates an environment that encourages everyone to contribute and helps to produce the best solutions.

Cortex's smart AI contract is an important component. It allows users to write machine-learning programs over the blockchain. These smart AI contracts can be used to submit interactions that are dependent on other contracts. This adds an additional layer of complexity.

Cortex also has a virtual machine. It is unsurprisingly called the Cortex Virtual Machine or CVM. CVM's instruction set is compatible with EVM, and supports reference instructions.

Machine learning researchers from around the globe can upload the corresponding data models and training to the Cortex Intelligent Inference Framework storage layer. The AI models can then be used by others, who pay the module providers in return for inferences.

Cortex Inference Consensus Criteria is also available. A contract must be executed by the full node when a user initiates a transaction. Cortex's AI smart contract can contain inference instructions, which is not possible with regular smart contracts. All nodes must agree to an inferred outcome.

Users should also adhere to the Model Submission Framework. This is easy thanks to an interface that allows users to submit models for off-chain training. This off-chain training includes instruction-interpreting virtual machines for models. This submission framework will allow for collaboration and trade by connecting providers of computing power and those who provide the algorithm.
