How to Buy Auto – 4 Easy Steps

1. Choose a cryptocurrency exchange

Finding a crypto exchange isn’t that hard. There are plenty of big players out there that have been around for quite some time.

This is where our comparison tables can help. The important factors to look for are fees, security, and if they have Auto of course.

2. Sign up with the cryptocurrency exchange

Signing up with any of the major exchanges is generally very easy. The initial sign up should be very fast, and even the verification processes are very well set up these days.

3. Fund your account

Next, you would need to fund your account with either fiat money (USD, AUD, GBP, CAD, etc) or another cryptocurrency like BTC or ETH. This process should again be straightforward and easily done using one of the bigger cryptocurrency exchanges.

4. Buy Auto

Now that you have what you need to buy Auto, head over to the market or buy section of the cryptocurrency trading platform and buy some AUTO.

If the crypto exchange doesn’t have any Auto on offer, for most cryptocurrencies you can buy Ethereum instead, transfer it to a decentralized exchange like Uniswap (check if Uniswap has Auto first), and trade your Ethereum for Auto.

Considering buying Auto? AUTO Rundown

AUTO is the native utility, governance token and to the Autofarm Protocol. It was launched on December 20, 2020 on the Binance Smart Chain ( BSC). Autofarm allows users to receive a high return from yield farming pools through staking in Autofarm vaults.

Autofarm is aiming to be a leader in DEX and yield aggregation on Binance Smart Chain (BSC). By integrating yield optimization and AMM as one product, users can have two products on one platform. This solves the problem of having to register on multiple protocols.

In February 2021, Autofarm launched its first crosschain vault on Huobi ECO Chain. Autofarm grew its ecosystem by purchasing Farmfol.io, an intelligent portfolio manager that simplifies how users track and monitor their assets on Binance Smart chain.

AUTO tokens can be used to vote on proposals and receive fees from the protocol. AUTO initiated a community-fair-launched token distribution by ensuring that only vault users will have an opportunity to participate in the AUTO token vault mining programme.

Autofarm is different from other yield farm projects such as Beefy. It claims to have the lowest fees on the market. Autofarm has cross-chain capabilities. It started out on the BSC, then expanded to the Huobi ECO Chain and HECO. There are plans for more cross-chain products.

Auto offers two main products: Vaults, and AutoSwap.

  • Vaults is an yield farming platform which compounds yields at optimal intervals. It also offers excellent yield optimization strategies. Vaults are a socialization tool that automates the compounding and yield generation process.
  • AutoSwap, a DEX aggregater, provides the best DEX trade prices. To ensure that trades are priced at the highest value and have the lowest slippage, it splits them across multiple DEXes.
End users don't need to know all the details of the underlying protocols or DeFi. Vaults are a passive investment strategy that is similar to a crypto hedge funds. It aims to increase users' deposited assets.
