3. Fund your account

Next, you would need to fund your account with either fiat money (USD, AUD, GBP, CAD, etc) or another cryptocurrency like BTC or ETH. This process should again be straightforward and easily done using one of the bigger exchanges.

4. Buy Akropolis

Considering buying Akropolis? AKRO Rundown

Akropolis is an Ethereum-based Decentralized Finance Protocol company. It aims to create an autonomous financial system for saving and growing wealth through borrowing and lending. It offers a range of products, including AkropolisOS, which is a framework to develop for-profit autonomous organizations, Sparta (a platform for uncollateralized loans) and Delphi (a yield farming tool and aggregator for dollar-cost average).

For protocol governance across its products, the project uses ERC-20 token.

Akropoli was the first to announce in March 2018, launching for Ethereum in June 2020.

Akropolis was created as a distributed savings fund and pensions fund. It was intended to solve the "looming pension deficit crisis" that would result from the collapse of state pension systems. In August 2020, however, the company declared it had moved its focus to creating the framework for such a system. AkropolisOS was created to enable the rapid launch and operation of capital pools for profit.

AkropolisOS, a Solidity-based modular framework that allows for the creation and management distributed capital pools, serves as the foundation for Sparta and Delphi platforms. The former provides access to uncollateralized loans. Akropolis claimed its products lower the risk associated loans, unlike other DeFi protocols. This is because they offer community incentives in form of AKRO for those who have provided accurate risk assessments.

In December 2018, the company gave an insight into its business model. It reported that it would be focusing on developing technology and academic partnerships, building a pipeline for institutional partners, clients and clients, and building out Akropolis' ecosystem. It also has a large amount of AKRO that can be used internally for operations like partnership building and marketing.
